Alberto Pérez has never written a line of code. Five months ago, he discovered Rork through a YouTube video, built a budget app in a couple of days, and published it to the App Store - all through Rork.

That app, Flowfy, is the first app he's ever built. Today: 100K+ downloads, $300+/day in revenue, #3 in Finance in Spain.

The Guy Behind It

Alberto is a 22-year-old mechanical engineer from Spain, now pursuing a master's in Data Science. Before Rork, he spent three years hustling with organic dropshipping - seven Shopify stores selling wine holders, journals, canvas prints. Over $20K in total revenue, but nothing that lasted. He wanted something of his own - not reselling someone else's product under a throwaway brand.

What he did have was a year of relentless content creation that taught him what goes viral. By the time he found Rork, he had built up an audience and a sharp instinct for hooks. Those skills ended up being his real edge once he had a product to promote.

Alberto is now a Rork Star - part of an exclusive community of top Rork builders, where he learns directly from app founders like Zach Yadegari (Cal AI, $4M MRR). When he joined Rork Stars in January, his total revenue was $750. Today: $22K. He was also one of the early users of Rork Max, and noticed a significant improvement in the quality of apps Rork can build.

How He Grew Flowfy

The idea came from a video showing a financial tracker app. Alberto looked at it and thought: this is ugly. I can do better.

He opened Rork, described what he wanted, and had a working app within days - without writing a single line of code.

Flowfy is a personal finance app built in Rork that lets you track expenses, set budgets, and visualize spending patterns. Simple concept. Clean UI. Pink, pastel, very feminine aesthetic - and that's 100% intentional. Alberto noticed that budget/finance content aimed at young women was massively underserved online, so he went full pastel. A finance app that feels like a lifestyle brand, not a spreadsheet.

The app launched on November 11. For the first few weeks, Alberto focused on growing his audience in Spain and getting initial traction before turning on monetization. Payments went live on December 5. First 30 days of monetization: $10K. Today: $22K total, $300+/day, with peaks of $600+.

Alberto doesn't run ads. He spent weeks searching for an organic format that would work, iterating across multiple angles until a hook finally clicked. Once he found it, he doubled down — and growth compounded from there.

Making Money

Flowfy runs on a freemium model. Users get the core features for free - basic expense tracking and budgets. More advanced features like detailed analytics, unlimited categories and accounts, and savings goals are locked behind FlowfyPRO, a paid subscription. The paywall is straightforward, and conversion is strong.

What's Next

The app currently has 100K+ downloads and is generating over $300/day in revenue. All organic. In Spain. In five months.

Alberto is scaling to English-speaking markets with dedicated content channels and exploring paid ads as the next growth lever on top of his organic machine.

Now imagine what happens when he goes global.
